St John’s Church of England (since renamed Anglican) began in Cranbourne nearly 150 years ago-as a country church. The pioneers of Cranbourne built St. John’s with great foresight in 1865, providing seating for about 100.

St John’s today is a lively, caring church and is home to believers and seekers of all ages and nationalities.

It is a welcoming Christian community committed to worship, encouragement, service & outreach. Worship services are held every Sunday at 8.30am- Holy Communion Service & at 10.30am – Contemporary Holy Communion Service. The “Crackers” Children’s Program and “Rising Eagles” for the youth runs concurrently during the 10:30 Service.
